Silver Alert cancelled for missing 86-year-old Kenner man

UPDATE: As of an 11:33 report from the Louisiana State Police, Sobrino has been found safe and the Silver Alert has been cancelled. Any questions about the alert should be directed to the Kenner Police Department.

ORIGINAL: KENNER, La. (WGNO) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a Kenner man after he was found to be missing from his home on East Louisiana State Drive on July 10 around 11:30 p.m.

According to the Louisiana State Police, 86-year-old Manuel Sobrino stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs around 130 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, a gray and white long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants. Officials say he’s believed to be riding a black bicycle with a basket.

Sobrino reportedly suffers from a medical condition which may impair his judgement. Anyone with information on Sobrino’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Kenner Police Department at 504-712-2200 or call 911. Additionally, all questions should be directed to the KPD.
