NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A Natchitoches man was placed under arrest, accused of selling narcotics at the hospital.
On July 1, 2025, Natchitoches Police Department Narcotics Division agents received a tip that a man was selling narcotics from his hospital room. Agents made contact with Natchitoches Regional Medical Center personnel to notify staff of the complaint.
Agents then spoke with the suspect, 62-year-old Roy Roe, where they say they located approximately nine grams of suspected methamphetamine in his hospital room.
Roe was placed under arrest for possession of a Schedule II narcotic and for taking contraband into a hospital.
