Medical marijuana sales up $8.7 million in first 6 months of 2025

Medical marijuana sales in Arkansas reached $144.2 million in the first six months of 2025, according to the state Department of Finance and Administration. That figure marks an $8.7 million increase from the same period last year.
From January 1 through June 30, Arkansans purchased a total of 38,793 pounds of medical marijuana, up 2,658 pounds from the first half of 2024.

In June alone, patients spent $23.2 million and purchased 6,319 pounds of medical marijuana. The state collected more than $2.76 million in tax revenue from those transactions, bringing the year-to-date total to $16.19 million.

As of the end of June, the Arkansas Department of Health reported 110,539 active medical marijuana patient cards statewide.

Among the 38 dispensaries currently operating in Arkansas, Suite 443 in Hot Springs reported the highest volume of product sold in June with 675.91 pounds. It was followed by Natural Relief Dispensary in Sherwood, which sold 606.87 pounds, and Harvest in Conway, which sold 390.38 pounds.

Other top-performing dispensaries included CROP in Jonesboro (371.83 pounds), Custom Cannabis in Alexander (337.83 pounds), and The Source in Rogers (288.44 pounds). Meanwhile, the dispensary previously known as Good Day Farm Texarkana was not in operation during the month.

The state’s medical marijuana program launched in May 2019 after voters approved legalization in 2016. Since then, sales have steadily climbed as more dispensaries have opened and patient enrollment has increased.
