Fremont police said officers located a man matching the description of the suspect a short time later.

“As they were contacting the man, later identified as Hector Lopez, he discarded a BB gun and hatchet,” said police in a social media post.

Police said they discovered that Lopez has several outstanding warrants. He was booked into the county jail where he faces charges.
