According to an affidavit, on Feb. 16, detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office learned of a Twitter account reportedly uploading child sexual abuse material.
On May 23, a search warrant was granted for accounts associated with the investigation. After the warrants were conducted, detectives found multiple conversations between Austin Granger, 28, and users who identified themselves as 15-year-olds. Granger shared images of his genitals with the juveniles.
In a folder, detectives found 1,282 files containing child anime pornography. The affidavit shows that at least six files were confirmed to be child pornography.
Detectives found an additional folder containing personal information, which they used to confirm Granger as the account holder.
Granger was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of six counts of pornography involving juveniles and six counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
