Precautionary boil water advisory issued for parts of New Orleans East
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A precautionary boil water advisory was issued for parts of New Orleans East on Thursday, July 10.
According to officials with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, water pressures fell below 20 psi during maintenance. The water pressure has since been restored, but further maintenance will resume at a later date.
SWBNO officials say the precautionary boil advisory will remain until samples are returned that prove the water to be safe.
