Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by vehicle near Victory Drive

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department says a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle near Victory Drive.

According to CPD, the incident happened near Victory Drive and Parkman Avenue, which led to officers responding to the area.

The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where their injuries were reported as serious, while the incident remains under investigation.
