STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A Woodbridge man was arrested after a Sunday traffic stop led to a drug bust, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on July 6, deputies saw a Ford with an expired registration sticker in the area of Chatham Heights Road.

Deputies pulled over the driver at a McDonald’s drive-thru, where the passenger, Horace Brunson, 29, was identified as someone wanted by the Virginia State Police for a felony weapon offense.

When deputies arrested Brunson, a large amount of cash and narcotics were found on his person.

Brunson was served on his outstanding warrant and charged with the distribution of narcotics.
