DALLAS (KDAF) — In response to the recent flooding that has disrupted lives throughout central Texas, DoorDash is contributing $100,000 in DoorDash gift cards through the Community Credits program to local nonprofit organizations that are leading on-the-ground recovery from the disaster.

These gift cards will help alleviate some of the immediate burdens around access to food, groceries, and essentials for the community. DoorDash will also donate relief supplies from local DashMart locations to further support these nonprofits.

To further support recovery efforts, DoorDash will make a $1 contribution for every order from Texas merchants, up to $250,000, to The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Local businesses and Dashers in the region will also be eligible to apply for relief fund grants. To learn more and apply, visit the Dasher Relief Fund.
