SDPS ask for public’s help after unresponsive man is found on sidewalk

(KRON) – The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (SDPS) is asking for the help of the public after a man was found unresponsive on the ground.

SDPS responded to an unresponsive man lying on the sidewalk near Sunnyvale Avenue and East Evelyn Avenue at 6:37 a.m. on Saturday.

Responding officers found a man in his 50s suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for emergency treatment and remains in critical condition. 

In a press release, SDPS said, “This remains an active investigation, and officers are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. We are seeking the public’s assistance.”
