PHOTOS: One injured in Montgomery County house fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Fire officials responded to a house fire in Montgomery County on Monday afternoon.

In a post on the X platform just before 3:15 p.m., the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said that crews responded to the 12700 block of Helen Rd. for a fire.

One resident was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

As of that post, MCFRS said that the fire was out.

Fire officials said that the fire likely started from a grill on the deck.
