Prosecutors said Nicholas Clark, 44, along with his son, Nicholas Clark, Jr. (then 18), and Gene Wheeler (then 25), beat a victim unconscious on August 24th, 2020, at the club formerly located at 1609 S. Alpine Road.
The victim was diagnosed as suffering from severe blunt force trauma to the head, according to the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Clark accepted a plea deal on the charge of Aggravated Battery in a Public Place, with other charges against him dismissed. He was sentenced to 2 years’ probation on Monday, July 7th.
Clark Jr and Wheeler still face charges of Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery. Clark Jr is due in court next on July 14th; Wheeler on September 4th.
