Infant falls from second-story window, critically injured

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — An infant fell from a second-story window Monday afternoon, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Police say this happened after 1:30 p.m. Monday at a home on the 5800 block of Pine Street. When officers arrived, they took the child to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where the baby was placed in extremely critical condition.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is investigating.
