PINEVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – Four people have been arrested in connection with a shooting early Thursday in Pineville, according to police.

The Pineville Police Department responded around 1:13 a.m. July 3 to reports of gunfire near Hayes Street and Pelican Drive. Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau worked throughout the day, securing multiple search warrants as part of the investigation.

With assistance from the Pineville and Alexandria police SWAT teams, officers executed the warrants and apprehended four suspects. Evidence gathered during the searches led to the arrests of the following individuals:

• Reyma Leshay Irwin was charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, criminal conspiracy, possession of Schedule I controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute, and possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances (cocaine).
• Victoria Renee Bell was charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder and criminal conspiracy.
• Dashawn Lamarcus Davis was charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder and criminal conspiracy.
• Kirstin Ardoin was charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder and criminal conspiracy.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police said additional charges may follow.

“The Pineville Police Department remains committed to the safety of our community and will continue to aggressively pursue those responsible for acts of violence,” the department said in a statement, extending thanks to the Alexandria Police Department for its assistance in executing warrants.
