According to the Louisville FOX affiliate WDRB, the jury found Houck guilty of murder (principal or accomplice to the crime) and Lawson guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. Both were found guilty of tampering with physical evidence.
The trial began June 24 and included more than 50 witnesses, cellphone data testimony, policing experts, surveillance videos, and recorded interrogations, in addition to other evidence.
WDRB said sobs were heard in the courtroom from Rogers’ family, and Houck’s attorney, Brian Butler, hung his head as the verdict was read.
Sentencing information has yet to be announced.
