Hartselle woman killed in Cullman County crash

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a Hartselle woman was killed in a two-vehicle wreck in Cullman County Sunday afternoon.

According to ALEA, at about 3 p.m., 55-year-old Cynthia Ruth Baker Reeves was killed when the car she was driving hit head-on with a pick-up truck carrying five people.

Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene.

ALEA said the five people in the truck were injured, with the driver being taken to UAB Hospital, and the other four, all minors, being taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash happened on Cullman County 222 near Cullman County 351, about one mile south of Crane Hill.

Troopers with ALEA are investigating the incident.
