
INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after a person was critically injured in a shooting on Indy’s east side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of East New York Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. They were listed in critical condition, according to police.
No additional information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
