Daytime highs on Thursday will be the coolest of the week, with highs only near 90° along the Wasatch Front and upper 90s for SW Utah. The better chance for showers & storms Thursday afternoon will shift more north and east during the day.
Just in time for the 4th of July, we will begin to dry things out and heat things up! Friday will feature mostly sunny to partly sunny skies, with a very slight chance for a pop-up across far northern Utah. Southern Utah will be dry and hot.
Highs across southern Utah will warm back to near 100°, while highs across northern Utah will warm into the low to mid 90s. It gets even hotter and drier for the weekend with sunny skies and hot temperatures. Highs will warm back to the upper 90s across the north, and 100°+ for SW Utah!
Next week will feature a strengthening ridge, leading to hotter and drier conditions through midweek. Highs will approach 110° for SW Utah, with triple digit heat returning to portions of the Wasatch Front.
