
San Francisco
The annual Fourth of July Fireworks will take place along San Francisco’s northern waterfront. Fireworks will be set off from a barge off PIER 39 and from the Municipal Pier, Aquatic Park, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
City officials say fireworks are best seen from the area of Hyde Street Harbor and Fisherman’s Wharf. Other spots to watch from include PIER 39 and the Pier 43 walkway.
East Bay
- Martinez – Shoreline Park – Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
- Antioch – Rivertown Festival – Festival from 4 p.m., fireworks ~9:20 p.m.
- Concord – Mt. Diablo HS – Music, carnival, fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Pleasant Hill – College Park HS – Celebration with fireworks at 8:45 p.m.
- Hercules Bayfront – Show starts just after dusk
- Pittsburg Marina – Starts at 8:45 p.m.
- Pinole – Drone light show at Pinole Valley HS – A quieter alternative starting at dusk
North Bay
- Marin County Fair (San Rafael) – Nightly fireworks at 9:30 p.m. during the fair July 3 – July 7
- Sausalito – Gabrielson Park – Full-day festival; fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Petaluma – Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
- Sonoma Plaza – Parade, festival, fireworks at dusk at 9:30 p.m.
- Calistoga – Parade and festival with a laser/light show instead of fireworks
- Mare Island (Vallejo) – Parade + drone show at 9:30 p.m.
South Bay
- The San Jose Earthquakes will celebrate the summer with their first-ever postgame fireworks show at PayPal Park following the match against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, July 5. Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
- Mountain View – Shoreline Amphitheatre – Concert by SF Symphony, then fireworks around after 8 p.m.
- Redwood City – Port – All-day festival ending with a drone light show at 9:30 p.m. (no fireworks)
- Santa Clara – Great America – Fireworks to patriotic music at 9:40 p.m. (July 4 – July 5)
- Cupertino – Hyde Middle School – Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
