Salvation Army needs your help collecting supplies for ‘Stuff the Bus’ fundraiser
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge needs your help.
The charitable organization is collecting school supplies for 30 families in need, ahead of a brand-new school year.
On Saturday, July 12, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., stop by the Walmart on College Drive to participate in the Salvation Army’s “Stuff the Bus” fundraiser.
You can sign up as a volunteer to help support the event, or you can donate school supplies.
The supplies will be given to children who are a part of the Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope program.
