Man found guilty of attempted murder in 2023 Humphreys County case
HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Miss (WJTV) – A man was found guilty of attempted murder following a two-day trial in Humphreys County.
According to District Attorney Akillie Malone-Oliver, witnesses testified that Thomas Johnson attempted to kill Randy Toy during an incident on November 11, 2023. The jury reached its verdict on June 24.
Johnson was sentenced to 40 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
