Mamou woman arrested in connection with fatal hit-and-run
MAMOU, La. (KLFY) — A Mamou woman is accused of killing a Eunice man in a hit-and-run, authorities said.
Kayle Nicole Ardoin, 39, of Mamou, was arrested Tuesday by Louisiana State Police and charged with hit and run driving causing death or bodily injury.
Ardoin is accused of killing Errol Deville, 55, of Eunice. Investigators said a vehicle traveling north on La. 3149 hit Deville as he was riding his motorized bicycle the morning of June 25. The vehicle struck the rear of the bicycle in the northbound lane and fled the scene without calling for assistance or rendering aid, authorities said.

Ardoin was booked into the Evangeline Parish jail Tuesday and subsequently released on $25,000 bond.
