A Salem woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Sharp County. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) have identified the victim as 20-year-old Taylor Jordan.
According to the ASP report, the accident happened when Jordans vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, then struck a tree causing it to overturn end over end before it struck a power pole where it came to rest.
The accident happened at 5:50 Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 167 near the intersection with Bear Valley Road in rural Sharp County between Ash Flat and Evening Shade.
