FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County detectives have arrested a 22-year-old man after linking him to multiple indecent exposure incidents dating back to last year in Greenbriar, police said Monday.

Authorities arrested Osman Quintana Herrara, of Centreville, on June 26, charging him with three counts of indecent exposure in connection with the offenses.

It all started on the afternoon of April 24, when officers were sent to the area of Maple Run Lane and Middle Ridge Drive for an indecent exposure. There, someone told police a man exposed himself before running away, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the man. Police said detectives took over the investigation and eventually identified the suspect as Quintana Herrara.

Upon investigating further, detectives linked Quintana Herrara to two incidents that happened near the Rocky Run Trail in Greenbriar last year, where people also reported seeing a man masturbating or exposing himself on a trail, according to FDCPD.

Following his arrest, Quintana Herrara was released on a $1,500 bond. FCPD urges anyone with information on the cases to call the department’s Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800, option 3. Tipsters can also submit information anonymously here.
