CHARLOTTE (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — The Charlotte Hornets have once again traded Serbian guard Vasilije Micic, this time to the Milwaukee Bucks for veteran forward Pat Connaughton and two second-round picks, according to ESPN.
Insider Shams Charania reports that the second-round picks are the Bucks’ own picks in 2031 and 2032.
This is the fourth time in the last 16 months the Charlotte Hornets have made a trade involving Micic.
Connaughton, entering his 11th season in the NBA, was part of the Bucks team that won the 2021 NBA Championship. This past season he only appeared in 41 games and averaged only 5.3 points; however, he shot 46.9% from the field, which was a career-high.
Connaughton joins a slew of new faces in the Hornets locker room that include 2025 draft picks Kon Knueppel, McNeely, Sion James and Ryan Kalkbrenner, returning center Mason Plumlee, and guard Colin Sexton.
