Woman, 26, sexually assaulted by 2 men in Lakeview: police

CHICAGO — Chicago police are investigating a sexual assault on the city’s North Side.

According to police, officers responded to a call for a well-being check around 10:45 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of North Wilton in the Lakeview neighborhood.

Upon arrival, a 26-year-old woman told police she was sitting in an alley when she was approached a group of four people; two men and two women.

Police said the victim was physically and sexually assaulted by the two men. The offenders then fled the scene in a vehicle.

The woman was transported to Throrek Memorial Hospital.

No one is in custody and Area Three Detectives are investigating. A description of the offenders has not been provided by police.
