MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — An injured bicyclist was rescued by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews on Sunday.
Crews received reports of a person stranded on a remote trail around 10 a.m. near the 14900 block of 14900 Schaeffer Rd., west of Oranger Trail.
There, crews found a person who was hurt after falling off their mountain bike.
Crews say it took roughly one hour to rescue the bicyclist, and they were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
