MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) – The Marshall Independent School District (MISD) has named Erica Mills as David Crockett Elementary School’s new principal.
“Erica Mills has proven to be a dedicated leader in Marshall ISD,” said Dr. Richele Langley, Marshall ISD Superintendent. “She has worked diligently as one of our Assistant Principals and has proven to be an effective communicator, is student-centered, and she shows a deep knowledge of the understanding of campus organization.
“Her background will bring a wealth of knowledge in managing an elementary campus while being able to guide her staff in teaching and learning. In addition, it’s always great to have a graduate of Marshall High School leading our scholars in MISD!”
Mills graduated from Marshall High School in 1997 and possesses 18 years of education experience. She has worked with Marshall ISD for the last decade and most recently served as the assistant principal of Prince T. Young Fine Arts Academy.
“I’m thrilled to begin this next chapter in my educational journey at David Crockett,” said Mills. “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as Principal at David Crockett and look forward to a successful and inspiring school year ahead.”
