Woman killed by driver in Salt Lake City, investigation underway

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Salt Lake City Saturday morning, according to Salt Lake City Police.

“We are conducting a death investigation near 245 South 400 East,” SLCPD stated on social media. “There is no public safety risk.”

Detectives are currently responding to investigate this incident. While details are limited, based on the preliminary investigation, a woman was hit by a vehicle as the driver pulled out onto 400 East.

Detectives are reportedly not looking for anyone regarding this matter.
