MIDVALE, Utah (ABC4) — One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being set on fire by another individual in Midvale Friday night, according to Unified Police.
The incident took place at a gas station in Midvale, located at 210 West 7200 South, at around 11:15 p.m., according to Sgt. Aymee Race, UPD. Authorities received a call that a person in a vehicle was set on fire by another individual.
One person was booked into Salt Lake County Jail after the incident. The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Details are limited at this time. The Unified Police Dept.’s arson team is currently investigating the incident. Names of the individuals involved are being withheld at this time.
