INDIANAPOLIS — A crash brought traffic to a standstill for several hours in the southbound lanes of I-465 on the west side of Indianapolis early Friday evening.
According to INDOT’s Traffic Management Center, all southbound lanes of I-465 are currently closed as authorities arrive on the scene to investigate. This is at mile marker 11.1 between W. Minnesota Street and Sam Jones Expressway near the Indianapolis Airport.
In an update INDOT sent shortly before 6:30 p.m., officials confirmed all lanes had reopened.

FOX59/CBS4 is working to learn more about the circumstances that led to this crash. As of this article’s publication, the Indiana State Police confirmed that no injuries were reported. However, they did not share how many vehicles were involved.
