SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Three Utah sisters are capturing the hearts of millions with a talent they never expected: singing lullabies that put their goats to sleep.
Leandra, Mikayla, and Jennessa Gibson have turned an ordinary chore on their farm—caring for their goats—into viral content that’s resonating around the world.
It all started by accident. One afternoon, the sisters were harmonizing in their barn while holding baby goats.
“We were like, wait—why are they falling asleep?” Leandra remembers. “This is so cute!”
Curious, they tried singing another song. And then another. Each time, the goats nodded off within seconds.
They decided to record a video, never imagining it would rack up close to six million views.
Since then, the sisters have gone from a handful of followers to thousands, with comments pouring in saying the videos help calm their stress and anxiety and even send them to dreamland!
“We’ve had people say they were doom-scrolling for hours and then this popped up and made them feel better,” Mikayla said.
While the viral fame has been a surprise—including moments like being recognized at the airport—the Gibsons say they’re simply grateful to be doing what they love.
“It’s honestly all super humbling,” Mikayla said. “When you start getting that validation, it’s mind-blowing. You’re like, wait—we might actually be able to do this!”
The sisters just released their first single, God Family Country, and say this is only the beginning.
