Train, car involved in crash in Trafalgar

TRAFALGAR, Ind. — Firefighters responded to a crash involving a car and a train in Trafalgar Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters with the Trafalgar Fire Department were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to the intersection of 725 W. and 600 S. in response to a call reporting that a train and a vehicle had collided.

Photos of the crash can be viewed below:

TFD said the occupant was seen walking around when they arrived on the scene and appeared to avoid sustaining any serious injuries. TFD noted that there are no cross-arms located at the intersection.
