MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said it arrested two people believed to have stolen a car on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4:30 p.m., MCPD said officers tried to stop a stolen Hyundai near Old Columbia Pike and Tech Road.
The car eventually stopped near Fairland Road and Route 29, where the suspects reportedly bailed out of the car and tried to run.
After a foot pursuit, MCPD said officers took them into custody.
Two suspects were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No bystanders or officers were hurt in the chase.
