MCPD: Three in custody after police chase involving stolen car

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said that three people were taken into custody on Friday after a police chase in Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Department of Police said in a post that around 4:55 p.m., officers tried to stop what police say was a stolen car in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Lockwood Drive.

The attempted traffic stop was followed by a chase that ended near Cherry Hill Road and Jayrose Boulevard in Prince George’s County.

Police said that no injuries were reported.
