(KRON) — The Daly City Police Department confirmed an investigation is underway after several suspects in black clothing and masks stole copper wiring from a PG&E location in Daly City.
DCPD said its officers were alerted of the incident at 3:57 a.m. Sunday on the 600 block of Carter Street.
Daly City PD said four to five suspects hopped out of a white Toyota Sequoia into the PG&E lot.
“When the reporting party yelled out, the suspects immediately got back into the vehicle and fled,” said Daly City police. “One suspect was unable to enter the vehicle in time and fled northbound toward Geneva Avenue on foot.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
