Prior to the regularly scheduled meeting, the board will hold a public hearing for the citizens and other interested persons to identify and discuss potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities for the community.
Items on the agenda include:
– An application by Courtney Roberts with North Arkansas Economic Development District (NWAEDD) to Cotter’s Great Strides/Trails for Life Grant;
– A review letter requesting the city to consider changing zoning;
– Annual of CPI and landfill fee increases; and
– An ordinance pertaining to the rules and regulations for permitting use inside city limits.
Information will be given on:
– Review Draft Ordinance 2025-2;
– Phase II B Sewer Rehabilitation Project;
– The 2024 financial statement for all departments;
– The status of $72,000 insurance claim for storm and hail damage to the North Arkansas Youth Center; and
– “Coffee with the Mayor” date changes.
