MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) — Celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with fireworks and live music in Marshall.

The fifth annual Freedom & Fireworks Festival returns to Bear Creek Smokehouse on Thursday, July 3.

Nashville songwriter Tyson Leamon is a fixture in the Tennessee Valley music scene. He comes from a musical family. He started singing at age three and toured with his pastor father. At 19, he joined the gospel group Heirline, touring the Southeast and Southwest. He released his first full album in 2021 and continues to write and perform songs that reflect his life.

Just a short drive from Marshall, Bear Creek Smokehouse offers great scenery away from city lights to celebrate the Fourth. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy food from the exclusive pit menu, drinks from Rueggenbach Brewing Co. and Walkers Mill Vineyard & Winery, and other treats.
