This is a Developing Story. Check back for updates

DALLAS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — If you’re heading down Lower Dallas Road on Wednesday or turning on the water in some parts of town, you might notice something…both are temporarily out of service.
Town officials announced that a water main break has forced the closure of Lower Dallas Road. Repair crews are on-site, working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.
As part of the repair efforts, water service from the town’s water plant has been temporarily shut off. That means some residents may experience little or no water pressure until the repair is complete.
“We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as more information becomes available,” the Town of Dallas announced on social media.
