NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A lane on the Bonnet Carré Spillway has been closed following an overnight vehicle fire.
According to the Louisiana State Police the closure impacts the right lane of Interstate 10 East at Milepost 218.
LSP officials said, the trailer’s recovery will “take an extended time.”
Drivers are being advised to find alternate routes, including US 61, until the lane reopens.
