Infant found dead in Southwest Side apartment; Investigation underway
CHICAGO (WGN) — Authorities are investigating after a two-month-old boy was found dead Tuesday afternoon in a Southwest Side apartment.
Chicago police say a witness at the scene reported discovering the unresponsive infant just before 1 p.m. inside a residence in the 4100 block of South Maplewood Avenue.
Emergency responders pronounced the child dead at the scene.
Area One Detectives are investigating. No further information has been released.
