HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Owensboro residents had the chance to see racers and classic cars participating in the nine-day, 2,300-mile road rally known as the Great Race on Tuesday.
More than 120 antique cars began rolling in at approximately 5 p.m.
Residents had the chance to get up close to the classic cars and meet the drivers before they made their way to the next stop on the race.
The race kicked off on Saturday in St. Paul, Minnesota, and will end on Sunday in South Carolina after 16 more stops in other cities.
