City of Shreveport to honor Chef Niema DiGrazia after winning Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The city of Shreveport will honor Chef Niema DiGrazia after she reigned victorious on Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay.

Chef DiGrazia, the executive chef at Abby Singer’s Bistro, will receive an official proclamation for her culinary skills and achievements. Since joining Abby Singer’s Bistro in 2024, DiGrazia has cooked globally inspired dishes rooted in southern soul and African tradition.

“Chef Niema’s presence and creativity have transformed the bistro into more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where culture, story, and cuisine meet,” said Wendell Riley, Executive Director of Robinson Film Center.

Mayor Tom Arceneaux will present the proclamation in a public ceremony at City Hall on Wednesday, June 25, at 3:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
