FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help finding a man needed to solve a homicide investigation in San Joaquin.
The sheriff’s office said they have found new information about the 2020 homicide of Rosendo Herrera in San Joaquin, resulting in the appeal for help locating 25-year-old Erick Javier Lopez. Deputies say Lopez is not a suspect, but detectives need to speak with him.
The victim, Rosendo Herrera, died a short time after deputies found him suffering from a gunshot wound in the front of a home on the 9000 block of Donna Street in San Joaquin on Oct. 8, 2020. A homeowner reported seeing Herrera in front of their house shortly after midnight.
