NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Six people were arrested on Monday, June 23, in connection with a drug investigation in the Greater New Orleans area.
According to the Louisiana State Police, a collaboration began between multiple agencies in October 2024 to investigate drug trafficking in the New Orleans area. Six search warrants were issued at locations in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes on Monday.
LSP officials said detectives seized around $6,000 in cash, around 25 grams of cocaine, as well as fentanyl, MDMA and paraphernalia. According to the LSP, properties on General De Gaulle Drive and Erie Street were seized, valued at a total of nearly $400,000.
The following people were arrested for the alleged charges:
- 45-year-old Quinton Gilmore: Possession of Schedule I CDS (Heroin) and possession of Schedule II (Fentanyl)
- 46-year-old Sashara Gilmore: Possession of Schedule I CDS (Heroin) and possession of Schedule II (fentanyl)
- 32-year-old Terrell Brown: Outstanding warrants
- 61-year-old Gregory Scott: Possession of Schedule II (MDMA) and possession of drug paraphernalia
- 44-year-old Dwayne Refuge: Conspiracy to distribute Schedule II (cocaine) and conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone
- 54-year-old Gabrielle Miles: Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (cocaine), distribution of Schedule II in a drug free zone, clandestine lab for producing controlled dangerous substance, conspiracy to distribute schedule II (cocaine), conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and proceeds from drug transactions
All were booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
