SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Early Monday morning, the Shreveport Fire Department received a call about a reported house fire in the 1800 block of Acorn St.
According to a release, SFD was dispatched at 4:48 a.m. and arrived at the home, at approximately 4:51 a.m.
Once firefighters arrived, they reported a one-story, wood-frame structure with visible smoke and flames coming from the front of the residence.
SFD immediately initiated an offensive attack inside the structure to suppress the flames and quickly extinguished the structure.
8 units and 24 firefighters dispatched to assist with firefighting operations at this incident.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
The fire is currently under investigation to determine the cause.
