TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police report one person is seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash in southwest Topeka on Monday.
The Topeka Police Department (TPD) reported in a press release that officers were called around 3 p.m. on June 23 to the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and Southwest Fairlawn Road. Law enforcement arriving at the scene found two vehicles involved in a crash.
Police found one person involved in the crash suffering from life-threatening injuries who was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The TPD report the 2900 block of Southwest Fairlawn Road will be shut down for an extended period of time due to the crash.
