One dead, one arrested in Jackson shooting

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police said one person was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting.

The shooting occurred at the corner of Siwell Road and Raymond Road just before 4:30 a.m. on June 24.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), did not identify the suspect or the victim.

The investigation is ongoing.
