
St. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A deputy with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office recently stopped a driver for alleged speeding on Highway 21 but also offered compassion to the driver.
In a post on the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page,
That’s when Byers decided to help him out without hesitation and tied the tie knot for the driver.
In the post, STPSO officials said, “This is a reminder that compassion still exists, even on the side of the road.”
