Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission brings Youth Nonviolence Summit to West Memphis

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission held a Nonviolence Youth Summit in West Memphis on Saturday.

The keynote speaker for the event was actress and producer Vivica A. Fox with the MLK Commission executive director Deshun Scarbrough.

The event, which took place at Hightower Park, is part of The Delta Experience Juneteenth Celebration and is described as a day of unity, inspiration and celebration.

Entertainment was also provided by musical artist Iyuana, Famous Amos, Cool B & Storm, the JT Line Dancers and comedian Jessie McDonald.
